Set in an English style court of cottages, the Rose Tree Cottage "English Village Shop and Tea Garden" is the original tearoom in Pasadena, California - helping start the tea revolution in America. The shop has been featured in L.A. Magazine and Victoria Magazine for their teas and tours. Our afternoon tea was named one of the top tea experiences in America by U.S.A. Today."

CULINARY SPECIALTIES: "We serve a traditional English style Full Afternoon Tea featuring a selection of finger sandwiches (including the favourite - Cucumber), freshly baked scones with lashings of Devon cream and our own delicious preserve. To complete the treat there's a selection of sweets, including the famous Rose Tree Cottage shortbread. During tea we serve you all the English Village Tea you can drink. All is served on fine Royal Doulton Bone China."

Tea Room Review
This is the perfect example of why one should try to offer a 2nd chance. Suffice it to say that following my first visit I didn't think to go back (I must have been having an off day).... but when I did I finally return I was in utter awe of what I'd been missing. Every single aspect of my subsequent visits has been glorious. The cottage itself is a dream, the service five star and the food absolutely superb. Rose Tree Cottage is not only the the most enduring of SoCal tea rooms, it is (in my estimation) the Queen Mother!
