It is more like a trip back in time as the grand home that houses the tea room recalls an era, grace and way of life gone by. Vonnie herself is sweet and unassuming with a deep respect for the Tea Parlor's namesake, her late aunt Effie Mae Miles. And nothing beats wandering the halls looking at all the pictures of the people who added to the family legacy and ultimately helped make the tea room possible.
